This is our morning practices prior to our breakfast at the hotel. Both of us were suffering from a little indigestion during our stay there so we decided to do Kriya and pranayama and share with our friends. If you are facing some digestion problem, probably you can pick up some tips from here!
We started off with cleansing using Kapalabhati and Agnisara and then followed Nadi Shodana and Sheetali pranayama.
Kapalabhati assist to clear your nasal passage early in the morning when you first wake up. So if you have blocked nose or thick mucus in the morning, it feels so good to clear them away! This practice also oxygenate your body while strengthening the muscles of your stomach and abdomen. With frequent practice, it improves digestion and brings blood circulation.
Agnisara fires up your body system and it burns the extra fats away around your tummy area. Do note that there no food should be consume prior to the practices.
We balance the strong practices with Nadi Shodan. This practice helps keep the mind calm and peaceful. It releases the accumulated tension and fatigue and clear out blocked energy channels.
Finally, we end it off with a light cooling pranayama – Sheetali which cools down our body and brings calmness to the overall body.
We can do the session longer when we are more familiar with the practices. Happy practicing!
